Mike and Andrew are two, self described, middle aged guys from the midwest talking about a 20 year old tv show. But that hardly describes all of what Burgers and Monsters really is. Of course you can join them each week as they delve into an episode of the SUPERNATURAL TV series, but along the way they will make fun asides and get into other movies and TV offerings that also fit the tasty and entertaining Burgers and Monsters format!
Mike Grant has worn many hats from: instructor to writer to video store clerk (yep he’s that old). He’s written several unproduced screenplays while he’s deep dived into endless hours of entertainment media. As an author he’s penned the Ode to Godzilla Movies tome THERE GOES TOKYO! He also has two collections of horror short stories available: IN 666 WORDS and HORROR 101. All books can be purchased as physical or electronic editions wherever you like to buy your books (and YES you should definitely buy Mike’s books!).
Burgers & Monsters is Mike’s third venture into the world of podcasting after earlier productions FANBOYSPODCAST and DON AND HIS AMAZING FRIEND (Mike was the Amazing Friend ...he was NOT DON as people often assume). As a longtime fan of the TV show Supernatural, BURGERS AND MONSTERS is now the perfect online place for Mike to call home.
Andrew Haupt is currently enjoying his retirement from his long career in Online Marketing. Andrew is also retired from managing a movie theater, working in local television entertainment and commercial production, bartending, and being a director/technical director for a community theater group. A few years ago Andrew wrote, produced, directed, and animated the stop motion film Buck Marshal Innerspace Commando that premiered at the Grand Rapids Film Festival in 2023. He might be working on another film. This is his first time co-hosting a weekly podcast. He seems to be having fun.
